Available for the 2022 model year, the BMW iX is an all-new, all-electric luxury midsize SUV with nearly everything you could ever want. The iX utilizes two current-excited synchronous motors - one for each axle and a 106 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery with lithium-ion/nickel-cobalt-manganese technology for a total output of 523 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque.

When fully charged, the iX delivers up to 300 miles. You can replenish the iX's battery from 10% to 80 percent in roughly 40 minutes using a DC fast charger. A 10 minutes’ charge time enables up to 90 miles. It will require 11 hours to recharge the iX's empty battery to full when charged at home.
